Rockwell marks Safety Week 2025 with a focus on culture and commitment
Rockwell marked Safety Week 2025 with a full programme of activity designed to keep safety front of mind across all sites, workshops and offices.
The week was launched with a short video message from the Senior Leadership Team emphasising the importance of visible safety leadership and continuous improvement. Throughout the fortnight, project teams ran daily toolbox talks focused on high-risk activities, site standards and speaking up — bringing the campaign themes into day-to-day operations.

Guest speakers brought valuable new perspectives — including Bernard Jackman, former Irish international and Leinster player, who spoke on resilience, teamwork and performance under pressure; Nurse Sara Faughnan, who explored the connection between physical and mental wellbeing; and the Lighthouse Charity, who delivered Make It Visible sessions encouraging open conversations around mental health across our sites.
On the ground, teams took part in our Safety Hazard Hunt, identifying and reporting real issues from live environments—a practical way to “see it, sort it and share it” and to recognise good practice as well as areas for improvement. Employees across the business also took part in signing Rockwell’s Life-Saving Commitments, pledging to uphold safe practices and look out for one another. Several pledges were recorded as part of an internal video celebrating our shared commitment to safety.

Safety Week 2025 showcased Rockwell’s safety culture in action: visible leadership, practical tools for teams, strong external partners and a clear message that safety — physical and psychological — is everyone’s job.
